Motorcycle license in Jyväskylä

In motorcycle training, the course price always includes complete riding equipment for driving lessons and exams. Of course, you can also use your own riding equipment if you wish. How quickly you get your license is up to you. Driving lessons can be done quickly. Menox has three instructors for moped and motorcycle lessons. Each of them is a motorcyclist themselves, with many years of experience. There are bikes for every license category, even for shorter drivers.

How soon will you get your card? The timetable is up to you: the sooner you pass the theory test, the sooner your card will be ready.

The 2025 driving season has ended, new driving times will be agreed in spring 2026.

We are already accepting registrations for the 2026 season. Complete the necessary theory lessons and theory test during the winter and we will be ready to drive immediately in the spring!

Motorcycle courses A1, A2, A

To ride a motorcycle, you need an A1, A2 or A category driving license, depending on the size of the motorcycle. How quickly you get your license is up to you.

The age limit for category A1 is 16 years and for category A2, 18 years. The age limit for category A is 24 years if the driver’s license is obtained with a driving test as the first motorcycle category.

Practice permit course

Upgrade training A1 > A2

The course includes mandatory upgrade training from category A1 to category A2. After the training, a certificate is submitted to Ajovarma. No exams are required after the upgrade training, as long as the previous motorcycle license has been valid for at least two years.

When you enroll for the course using the web form, you can pay immediately online and you have access to common payment methods, credit cards and installments. You can also choose a traditional invoice as the payment method, in which case the guardian is responsible for the costs of the minor’s driving license.

The KSL reference interest rate refers to the reference interest rate referred to in the Consumer Protection Act in accordance with Section 12 of the Interest Act, which is published by the Bank of Finland twice a year and is valid for 6 months at a time. The applicable reference interest rate may not exceed 5%, i.e. the annual interest rate of the loan may not exceed 20%, as provided for in the Consumer Protection Act.

Example purchase: €1,500, with a 12-month payment option. Annual interest rate: 0%. Credit cost/month: €5.60. Actual annual interest rate: 4.01%. Credit costs: €61.60. Total payable: €1,562. Installment/month: €130.60, 12 installments. The credit cost is 0.28%/month of the agreed credit limit, however, no more than €12.50/month. The credit cost is charged in monthly invoices. A driving school account is a continuous credit with a minimum credit limit of €2,000. Other uses of the credit may result in a higher or lower annual percentage rate of interest.
