EAS – Training for candidates for first driving licences
For first-time drivers, the 4-hour mandatory theory course must be completed before starting driving lessons with a driving instruction permit. The certificate of instruction must be carried with you when driving.
RTK – Risk Identification Training
The minimum duration of RTK training is 8 hours, of which 4 hours are theory and 4 hours are driving lessons. All those who have obtained a passenger car license participate in this training, regardless of the teaching method or previous driving licenses. The main focus of theoretical training is on the ability to observe and identify traffic hazards and to anticipate and avoid risks. The mandatory topics of driving instruction are: Driving in built-up areas, on highways, on slippery roads and in the dark. The components of driving instruction can be completed using a driving simulator in virtual traffic or in real traffic situations under the instruction of a traffic instructor. The price of the course is significantly affected by the driving instruction chosen. Also in a car with automatic transmission.
We have three driving simulators in use in Jyväskylä. Driving lessons can be arranged within about two weeks once the online theories are ready, including those that can be completed in the car.

The KSL reference interest rate refers to the reference interest rate referred to in the Consumer Protection Act in accordance with Section 12 of the Interest Act, which is published by the Bank of Finland twice a year and is valid for 6 months at a time. The applicable reference interest rate may not exceed 5%, i.e. the annual interest rate of the loan may not exceed 20%, as provided for in the Consumer Protection Act.

A driving school account is a continuous credit with a minimum credit limit of €2,000. Other uses of the credit may result in a higher or lower annual percentage rate of interest.
